Web-4-All

CIPA, in collaboration with Industry Canada, offers all rural and first nations communities access to Web-4-All systems adapted to those who experience hearing, visual, motor, literacy or learning difficulties. This program helps meet the needs of Canadians living with a disability or a literacy problem. People with a visual, hearing or motor-skills impairment, or those who must overcome literacy problems can now access computers adapted to their special needs; information is made accessible through sight, sound and touch. The Web-4-All technology combines hardware and software capabilities that allow users to quickly configure public access computers to meet their specific needs, using a swipe card.
