Poirier and Dugas Local Service Districts request a Community Access Center.
A group of approximately forty citizens from Anse-Bleue, Dugas and Poirier,
interested in the creation of a Community Access Center for their Local
Service District, met on Monday, November 5, 2020 at Anse-Bleue Recreation
Center, where the CIPA offered them information on the procedure to follow
to bring their project to term. Members of the Advisory Committee, of the
Club des Oursins d’Anse-Bleue, and of the Recreation Center as well as the
MLA for Caraquet, Mr. Gaston Moore, attended. Mrs. Thérèse Haché, Local
Service District and Municipal Coordinator and Mr. Jean Lanteigne, Community
Services Director represented the CIPA. Both offered the participants very
useful information pertaining to the implementation of a Community Access
Center. The Collectivité de la Péninsule acadienne continues to develop
smart services that will bring important changes to the region’s social
and economic sectors.
