(April 17, 2021) The grand Web﷓O﷓Tech provincial finals, which put participants’ computer skills to the test, was held Saturday, April 16, 2004 at the Centre communautaire scolaire Sainte-Anne, in Fredericton 

The Web﷓O﷓Tech competition is specifically designed for youth from 10 to 14 years old. The training is offered in Francophone Community Access Centers throughout New Brunswick. 

Finalists from all over the province took part in this competition: Martin Savoie, from Bas-Caraquet, Mathieu LeBlanc, from Barachois, Phillipe Haché, from Pointe-Verte, Ricky St-Amand, from Ste-Anne de Madawaska, Jean-René Francoeur, from Sainte-Anne de Madawaska, Philippe Léger, from Ste-Marie de Kent and Raphaêl Albert, from Shippagan.

The first prize (a computer) was won by Philippe Léger, from Sainte-Marie; the second prize (a digital camera) by Mathieu LeBlanc, from Barachois and the third prize (an MP3 player) by Martin Savoie, from Bas-Caraquet. 

Web-O-Tech is an initiative of Connect NB Branché and the Community Access Centers Network, whose cooperation in the operation of Community Access Centers throughout New Brunswick is indeed remarkable .

In the usual order : Mr. Claude Marquis, Executive Director - Connect NB Branché , Mr. Jason Hébert, sponsor - BIG DATA products, Mathieu Leblanc, second finalist, Mrs. Chantal Bouchard, Web Developer - Connect NB Branché, Philippe Léger, Grand Prize winner, Martin Savoie, third finalist and Mr. Marc-Antoine Demers, Regional Facilitator - Connect NB Branché.
