PROVINCIAL WEB-O-TECH
COMPETITION REVEALS WINNERS
(April 17, 2021) The grand WebOTech provincial finals, which
put participants� computer skills to the test, was held Saturday, April
16, 2004 at the Centre communautaire scolaire Sainte-Anne, in
Fredericton
The WebOTech competition is specifically designed for youth
from 10 to 14 years old. The training is offered in Francophone Community
Access Centers throughout New Brunswick.
Finalists from all over the province took part in this competition: Martin
Savoie, from Bas-Caraquet, Mathieu LeBlanc, from Barachois, Phillipe Hach�,
from Pointe-Verte, Ricky St-Amand, from Ste-Anne de Madawaska, Jean-Ren�
Francoeur, from Sainte-Anne de Madawaska, Philippe L�ger, from Ste-Marie de
Kent and Rapha�l Albert, from Shippagan.
The first prize (a computer) was won by Philippe L�ger, from Sainte-Marie;
the second prize (a digital camera) by Mathieu LeBlanc, from Barachois and
the third prize (an MP3 player) by Martin Savoie, from Bas-Caraquet.
Web-O-Tech is an initiative of Connect NB Branch� and the Community Access
Centers Network, whose cooperation in the operation of Community Access
Centers throughout New Brunswick is indeed remarkable .
