Franco-Tech 2003 an outstanding success
Salon Franco-Tech 2003, the
first of its kind to take place at the Université de Moncton, Shippagan
campus, was held with great success, on October 23 and 24, 2003. Seventeen
guest speakers, 10 exhibitors and over 225 visitors attended the event. Many
business people were present, as well as students from NBCC – Péninsule
acadienne, the Centre universitaire de Shippagan, the region’s various
high schools and the Youth Entrepreneurship Program.
The project’s aim was to provide the region’s entrepreneurs with an
overview of ICTs and their everyday applications, through the testimonials
of various entrepreneurs, consultants, teachers and researchers.
Representatives from the local and regional media were also present.
